This time around, with the help of our special guests, George Patrinos, Professor and Head of Laboratory at the University of Patras and Editor-in-Chief of The Pharmacogenomics Journal, Sara Rogers, President of the American Society for Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, and Dr. Richard Turner, Director – Physician in Genomic Sciences at GSK, we will be discussing proof points which help in pharmacogenetics (PGx) adoption. We will be discussing PGx and its proven effectiveness in reducing adverse drug reactions (ADRs). To help with this, we will spend some time exploring the PREPARE study, short for the Pre-emptive Pharmacogenomic Testing for Preventing Drug Reactions study, which shows a reduction in ADRs by a whopping 30%.
