Martin Dawes – MB.BS, MD, FRCGP, PhD

Professor Martin Dawes is a world expert in primary care who combines research and clinical practice with over 30 years of experience. Following the completion of his PhD, he helped develop a Masters program in Evidence Based Health Care. He has directed the UK Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine in Oxford and was the head of family practice at McGill University and the University of British Columbia.

Gustavo Bernard Esquivel Zavala, MD, PhD, MHA

Bernard Esquivel is a practicing physician-scientist, senior executive, and international leader with in-depth expertise developing new markets, devising compelling value propositions, go-to-market strategies, and launching programs to fulfill organizational goals and objectives in the healthcare space. Notably, he mobilized a local healthcare community to engage in the practice of precision medicine by founding and presiding over the Latin American Association of Personalized Medicine (ALAMP). This organization now includes more than 500 members from nine countries in Latin America.

Ohad Arazi
Independent Board Advisor

Ohad brings to GenXys a dynamic 20-year experience as an entrepreneur, public company executive and CEO in the digital health and medical device. In addition to his position as Director on the GenXys Board, he serves as the Entrepreneur In Residence for TELUS Ventures – the corporate venture capital arm of $16B giant TELUS – driving the fund’s international investments and the healthcare portfolio. Ohad is also the Chairman of the Board for big data platform vendor Genoox, and recently served as Chief Executive Officer for Zebra Medical Vision, an award winning, venture-back imaging AI company from Israel. Prior to his tenure at Zebra Med, Ohad served as the Chief Strategy Officer for TELUS Health and led the Provider Solutions Business Unit. In this capacity he grew the reach of the organization to deliver Electronical Medical Record systems to 28,000 primary care physicians in Canada and launch Canada’s first electronic prescribing network.

Diana Dawes – MSc, MCSP

Diana Dawes was one of the leading visionaries behind the establishment of GenXys. She has an MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care from Oxford and is a clinical associate professor at the University of British Columbia. Diana is a successful epidemiologist running clinical trials and synthesizing the best evidence.

Karen Boodram – MBA

Karen has over 25 years of experience in senior roles for both the pharmaceutical industry and capital markets, focusing on commercializing new and innovative health technologies.
